Hany Adel, Promoting Egypt While Being Indie هاني عادل | دوّر بنفسك

Hany Adel has the indie label all over him. He does it in music and in motion picture. The calm, salt and pepper haired Egyptian talent stands as one of the coolest dudes in the post Mubarak entertainer industry. He sings in his own band, guests with other bands and supports a wholesale of causes.

He has also starred on a number of youth driven movies. Now he is bringing it all back in a personal song as he now has turned 30 and needs to figure out his path. The song about never stopping from dreaming and working toward a better life. Sounds like a good song for a soft drink commercial. I love the journey the artists takes accompanied by his guitar.

Playing guitar in nature and going for a dip has never gone out of style. It's amazing how much of Egypt people do not really know. Get out of Cairo everyone and head south. The outdoors are something not to be undersold in that country. I am serious, leaving one's comfort zone has have great rewards. He filmed the clip in the duration of six days moving in between locations in Sinai, Aswan, and Cairo.

I like how Hany conducts himself, most musicians, like to be called indie but few fully embrace that label. Adel understands it and puts the concept to a good use. With his international fandom, his Egyptian message will be echoed around the globe.
