You, Your Father and His Mother Would Love This

He is young, he has a great set of vocals, confidence, charisma...that makes a career of a good artist, but he is Palestinian and not too many of those make it big in entertainment. But Ameer Dandan won't let that stop him from making great music. He is unearthing older songs of Arabic the ones from the 40s, 50s, and 60s and covering them with his voice.

Not too many young singers can do what Ameer does, he seems to be educated about his musical choices. He choses songs that fit really well with his vocals. He is never shy of tough songs Tarab Halaby and Mowashahat seem to be his preference. So that is not karaoke music that will get you up in the morning. But he also does more hip songs every now and then check a video below.

No wonder Ameer is getting a lot of attention and he is getting booked for concerts and events for Palestine. I think the more of these he gets, the better his craft will get the more we will see of this bright talented singer that appreciates the gems of Arabic music.
