So what if Mohamed Nour was the only Egyptian singer to release a pro Mubarak song during the revolution. He loves the dictator and showed his love with the song that he famously changed to instead of loving the president, it became loving Egypt. It was the same song, but he changes the casing on the lyrics. Needless to say we called him an idiot for doing that.
Now he is back with a solo album of his own, he release an album with his WAMA band last year, and now he wants to be the man on the stage. I know the ladies love his looks and his exotic looking eyes, but will that be enough to sell the album? Will his stupid decision-he blames it on his friends be forgotten? Unlikely, but the album might. He has 10 track which means he has 10 opportunities to convince us that he is a grade A entertainer.
I love the album, this one is all about memories and no one takes you back then as well as Mr. Nour, his vocals are sincere and his music does not get in the way. This is a solid sweet album full of beautiful meaning about childhood love, the good old days and being a helpless romantic. The lyrics are a delight. I recommend this album
