Where is Tamer Hosny When You Need Him?

Tamer Hosny, the dude, the guy who could get hundreds of young men marching in the streets to see him and hear him talk and sing...has been missing in the recent days. While the people of Egypt have been taking to the streets their plight and madness about a wholesale of issues that pertain to them. But Tamer Hosny has been quite about this whole demonstration and strike deals that has been on the mid of many Egyptians.

Where are you Tamer? do not you love Egypt? And don't you think these young men love you? Are you too chicken to say something or perhaps release one of those ready songs you have in stock? What are you made of? Are you happy with the way things have been going in Egypt? or are you just busy? It's a shame this young man who is too worried about his own image and has been silent and quite himself, very unusual for Tamer who never misses an opportunity to release a timely song.

I know you have a concert in Netherlands and you are there now partying it up, but had those events taken place in a nearby Arab country, you would have a song ready to go, but why not do a song for Egypt? the people that made you a star in the first place? Are you worried they will take your stardom away? They won't be able to. Are you afraid they will ban you from TV? even so, you have other outlets. Have you made up your mind? Will you stand tomorrow Friday with your country men?

Maybe you should send a Facebook message to your millions of fans urging them to do the right thing? But I guess somethings never change, you are just another small time hypocrite who does not want to take a stand. Let the loyal citizens of Egypt know who is on their said and who is not. You only care about Tamer Hosny and only Tamer Hosny. Sure you make good music, but this is about your character.

Carole Samahe Spills the Beans on Sabah Biopic

Carole Samah stopped by popular TV show to talk about her upcoming TV biopic about the life of the Lebanese Diva Sabah. The show is planned to air this upcoming Ramadan in most major Arab networks.

I have the links for the Carole appearance on TV, of course she sang some of her sons and other popular old sons that she will be covering in her next album titled Zaman "Oldies". Carole will voicing most of the songs for the biopic, but the concert songs will be Sabah's voice and the live recording from those actual concerts. I think this sounds like a good idea.

It's not a show about the life of Sabah until you talk about her many marriages and divorces. And her family drama (her brother shot her own mother) Watch segments of the interview...Do you think Carole can do the role of Sabah justice? I think she can.

06.Hayara Ya Zaman, this is the fairytale music we came to expect from Kadem, it's like a battle scene soundtrack, meant to appeal to those fans in Egypt and beyond. It reminds you of a more hip Kadem when you could dance to his songs, the 90s, but still worthy of his wisdom and musical taste.
07.Khalas El Youm, the darkest song on the album, it feels so lonely and has been made better by the convincing voice of down on his luck Kadem. Sure he has the best pronunciation and he never gets ahead of himself.
08.La Tezedeh Lawaa, the album gem and title song, opens like an epic song, poetry is a craft of Kadem, it opens like a Kadem safe song, till the chorus comes in swinging bringing this gem to life, it will be a huge hit in the Gulf is plays like a jalsat style song where the dialogue is part of the show
09.Ma Hebak Baad, the most Iraqi son on the album, the exciting choubi music that pumps and animates our Iraqi music fans. The lyrics serve the song well and deliver a melody that Iraqis will play over and over.
10.Marat Ala Baly, we love this song and we have reviewed it before here, it's an epic love story, a produce of great musicals notes, amazing vocals and perfect delivery Kadem orchestrated the best of his team to give us this song, it will live on like many of his Kadem works.
11.Maza Baad, sweet song about the memories, it reminds of his album "7abibity ta7t Alma6ar", his voice is still golden here and the story of his trouble is voiced here in aromatic lyrics and yes the chorus is essential here.
12.Ya Abo El Eiyoun El Soud, this is the Gulf safe song and the beat makes no apologies, in your face style of poetry delivered like a poet in a small room with those who celebrate his work. Again this is the Kadem of the 90s where the fusion of the Iraqi style goes well with the best of the Gulf beat.
13.Ya Sayedi El Mohtaram, the title is smart and gives you a sense of the song, you know you what you are getting, it's a replica of the hit Alma7kama song from the 2009 album. It's a slow song plays like a "We need to talk" to go over a relationship status. I enjoyed the lyrics here, the music feels tired and maybe that's why this song is meant to be enjoyed.

Klodia's 80 Thousand Dollar Music Video is Here?

Few weeks ago we reviewed Klodia's first album (here) before the release of her album Al Wa2at Dah, she has promised her music video for the album will cost 80 thousand cool US dollars. I began to wonder what would this music video will look like? Will it have airplanes and tanks in a war scene? Will it be filmed in space on a NASA space shuttle?

So you know was disappointed when I saw the much hyped music video where it made me think I could have made it for 100 dollar. You get the dancers, the customs, makeup, a cane, and some lights. While the music video can be entertaining at some parts, few shots play as a soft core porn, Arabic porn....Klodia wants to show a sexy side without being in your face....she just wanted to tease you that, "Hey, I can do that"

Klodia Hanna born April 25, in Baghdad, Iraq), better known as Klodia is a Iraqi singer. She currently lives in Cairo working on her debut album following the release of her first single in the Egyptian dialect, “Bandam Awy”. Does she want to be the singer from Iraq? or the singer form Egypt? Or does she want so be a pop star? Her music video tells me she wants to be anything and everything....usually, this is not a great sign.
