Video: Black Muslim Rapper/ Activist Lupe Fiasco Pulled Off Stage

Lupe Fiasco has shown that he means business, he won't change who he is because it is no popular. His most famous anti-war song where he used a powerful line Gaza got bombed, Obama said shit got him in hot water during a concert appearance here in the District of Columbia.

The Chicago rapper and global icon Lupe Fiasco was pulled off stage at an event tied to President Obama’s Inauguration in Washington, D.C. late Sunday night after using his performance to go after Obama’s policies

Supposedly he was asked to change the song, and not criticize the president lack of actions on bringing an end to violence, but he wouldn't. The Grammy Winner headlined the Inauguration Celebration Party presented by StartUp RockOn, but things soured in the middle of his set, when Fiasco reportedly performed a 30-minute version of his anti-war track “Words I Never Said,” repeatedly criticizing Obama and refusing to move on to another song.

He was escorted away by security personnel. “Lupe Fiasco just got thrown off stage here at the Hamilton Live after he went on an anti-Obama diatribe mid set,” wrote Josh Rogin of Foreign Policy. CNN staffer Matt Dornic added, “Things going terribly wrong at @LupeFiasco performance during #SURO. Kicked off stage, bashing obama.”

In an official statement sent Monday, StartUp RockOn said that organizers “decided to move on to the next act” to end a “bizarrely repetitive, jarring performance that left the crowd vocally dissatisfied.”

I love how people use freedom of speech to shut other people up, they invited him to sing, bear with him and do not make a scene. Sometimes, the way we react to activities or opinions we do not approve of, ends up hurting us.
